Slowly dealing with the problem of my car being many pieces around the house. Now all I have to do is connect all the fun parts.
All this just to replace an oil seal and tighten the oil pan.

I would rather not... I’m going to need a pretty strong drink tonight.

K next weekend then. Strong drinks is a thing I can do.

Wow, wish I was nearby so I could help, or at least gawk.
Once I did that (removed and replaced a SAAB 96 engine) twice in one night. Why twice? I was replacing my clutch, and after I bolted the engine back in and hooked up all the pipes and cables and stuff, when I lifted up the hood to put it back on, I saw the circlip that holds the throwout bearing in place lying on the floor of the garage. Oops!

Well, now I’m held up because I can’t find the bolt that holds the throttle shaft thingy to the intake manifold. I kept everything in a baggy, and I can’t that one anywhere. I must’ve dropped it when taking the engine out.

Get me a pitcher of gin and a shot of tonic.

Hmm... doesn’t appear I have any gin on hand. I need to restock the liquor cabinet. Lots of rye though. Small amount of scotch too. I could make you a carbomb if you don’t mind subbing Crown for the Jameson?
